The Tarragona industrial complex (CIT) of Ercros has participated in the event organised by the Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV) to commemorate the five years of dual training and recognise the companies collaborating in this programme, including Ercros.

The event, held in the Auditorium of the URV's Rectorate building, highlighted the involvement of the entities that contribute to the training of students and the strengthening of links between university and business.

Representing the Ercros industrial complex in Tarragona were Joan Miquel Capdevila, director; Mario Lorenzo, head of human resources; Belén Brota, head of the technical department of quality and environment; Joan Cambra, head of R+D of basic chemistry; and Javier Pozo, R+D technician in basic chemistry. The latter three are also tutors of the Ercros dual training program.

The event was also attended by Yining Qiu Fu, Ainhoa Pardo, Irene Sabaté, Paula Martínez and Joaquín Abel Giménez, students and former students of dual training, some of whom have subsequently joined the Ercros staff.

Ercros has been collaborating with the URV in the dual training programme for the bachelor’s degree in chemistry since its implementation in the 2021-2022 academic year. Dual training has established itself as an effective way to acquire practical experience, develop professional skills and access the world of work with greater guarantees.
